230 of Jersey’s young musicians are set to star in A British Celebration on 25th March at Fort Regent. Think Pimms, cupcakes, prom-themed hats, flags and streamers galore!
The evening will star children between seven and eighteen from 38 of the Island’s schools, performing together in a patriotic Last night of the Proms finale. Fort Regent will be suitably decked out for the occasion, including some typically British cars provided by Jacksons.
The concert, sponsored by Asset Leverage Consultants (ALC), has been organised by Jersey Music Service.
Ben Thomason, Founder and Managing Director at ALC, commented: “JMS’s level of engagement with young musicians is fantastic. Creating the opportunity for young islanders to perform on such a grand scale is commendable.”
Dr Graham Cox, Principal of Jersey Music Service, said: “We’re delighted to have the support of ALC for our concert this year. This promises to be a really exciting evening of music and I’m sure the audience will never forget.”
